There is nothing wrong with my computer, it is a machine. It has no opinions, no agendas; it doesn’t stay up late thinking of ways to antagonize me.
So what is wrong? Rather WHO is wrong? Google, Microsoft, Androids, AOL, Yahoo, Hotmail, Foxfire, Safari, that is who. They cannot or will not devise a system that works.
Case studies: I cannot send attachments working with one email provider and a certain browser. Other browsers have to have something disconnected to work with the email provider. I cannot choose the font I want, and it changes as I type if I do use their suggested (demanded) font. Browsers don’t have tool bars. Find your lost tool bar! Help says. No, I don’t have the correct path to get there.
Back to attachments; aha! I will embed the picture in the email. No, it won’t copy and paste. Now, if I would only use their email provider, everything would work. I do not like their email provider. It doesn’t do what I want it to.
What is wrong with the idea that I should be able to choose the features I want? What is wrong with that idea? Because they all are bullies without a thought of pleasing anybody. Some new kid comes along, with a better idea, touts it loudly. Soon, that kid is just like the rest……out to get my, I don’t know, I can’t think why they are so perverse.
Where is customer service in computer land? Have you EVER gotten a reply to a question that actually answered the question? And which didn’t send you five or ten sites down the way?
What is in it for them? Certainly if they can be so clever as to thwart my every move, they are smart enough to make something that works! If I like this email, then don’t you think they would make it simple for me to stay with them instead of chasing me away?

Three little words for you: Buy a Mac. LOL
