According to one Tea Partier, the Tea Party is staging a hostile takeover of America’s federal government.
From The Huffington Post:
“Welcome to the hostile takeover,” said Matt Kibbe, president and CEO of the Tea Party group. “We, as shareholders of the American enterprise, feel like it’s far past time that we beat the Washington establishment. In case you’ve read otherwise, we have not gone away.”
As you can see from the definition of hostile takeover, (definition is at the end of this article), it is about one company taking over another one. What Kibbe is talking about is a coup, not a hostile takeover. In other words, the Tea Party is attempting to stage a coup.
This is just another example of how the Republicans are not interested in governing. They are only interested in ruling as in a monarchy or dictatorship not in governing as in a democracy.
The Republican Party has become an anti-American, unpatriotic, intolerant, and racist party. Vote for Republicans and you are not only endorsing this thinking and the Republicans’ actions, you are encouraging and even perpetuating this train of thought.
