I was raised in the 1960s and 1970s. I became politically aware in the late 1960s: Just when the civil unrest in this country was reaching its apex.

What happened in the 60s and 70s is eerily similar to what is happening today with the Occupy Wall Street protesters and all of the other Occupy groups that have sprung up around this country and the world.
