the literally dozens of Republican lies, I realized that that article will take a while to write. So I decided instead to focus this first article on the three big lies that the National Republican Convention appeared to be based upon. The theme of the convention was these three lies.
Rep. Todd Akin (R-MO) who is running for a Senate seat made a comment about “legitimate rape.” Every Rape is Legitimate The leaders of the Republican Party immediately tried to distance themselves from Akin by repudiating his remarks and calling for him to drop out of the Senate race.
All of this is just public relations bullshit spin on the part of the Republicans. The beliefs and views of Akin about rape and abortion are the mainstream Republican beliefs. In fact the Republican Party just last Friday voted to include in their party platform language that would outlaw all abortions with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the life of the mother.
“The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld President Obama’s health reform law, affirming the centerpiece of the sweeping 2010 overhaul of the nation’s medical industries in a landmark 5-4 vote. The deciding opinion, written by conservative Chief Justice John Roberts, held that the requirement that almost all Americans buy health insurance starting in 2014 or pay a penalty, does not violate the Constitution. The Court limited a massive expansion of Medicaid, the federal program that provides health care to the poor, but did not strike it down. That outcome validates the legacy achievement of Obama’s tenure, and puts the U.S. closer to near-universal health coverage than at any time in its history.
The Supreme Court had a chance to revisit the Citizens United ruling, the worst decision to ever be handed down by the Court. Instead, they have once again given the green light to the greedy rich who want to buy our elections. The Supreme Court has refused to take down the “For Sale” sign they put our government.

Everything exposed about the Koch brothers in this film is legal. This is what the partisan conservative Supreme Court has brought us with the ridiculous, anti-democratic, anti-America/Americans Citizens United decision. Most legal experts say this decision was one of the worst and possibly the worst decision to ever come out of the Supreme Court.

Rick Santorum has been saying some things on the campaign trail that most people find to be outlandish and outside the mainstream of American politics.
But is it?
Santorum has labeled himself very conservative, and his rhetoric matches that description perfectly. He is against public education. He thinks they should be all private schools. Santorum thinks the public higher education system is there for the left to indoctrinate the young people in this country and to turn them away from their faith. He doesn’t believe in global climate change, or evolution. He wants creationism taught in schools and prayer allowed.
