Romney Fails Another Test Of Leadership

This man is clueless when it comes to...well, everything.

The vitriol and accusations that President Obama is not a legitimate president or isn’t acting legitimately – painting Obama as somehow “other” or “not one of us” – Republican meme from the 2008 elections has begun already. The Republicans are dehumanizing, or allowing it to happen to President Obama so it will be easier for their brainless minions to hate him.

If you want to know how Romney would do as president – what kind of president he would be – all you need to do is watch how he deals with controversy on the campaign trail. first there was Rush Limbaugh and his lunatic ravings about Sandra Fluke when he called her a slut for having the courage to stand up and testify to Congress about contraceptions: The Republican Party Bows to Rush

Then there was Ted Nugent and his barely concealed threat on President Obama’s life: Where is Romney?

And now we have an old woman mentioning, during a question to Mitt Romney, that she thinks President Obama is governing outside of the Constitution and should be tried for treason: Romney backer sees treason, Obama’s campaign cries foul

If he can’t stand up to the lunatics in his own party, how is he going to stand up to foreign leaders? If he can’t stand up to the lunatics in his own party, how is he going to stand up to individuals that might want to take this country on a self-destructive path? If he can’t stand up to the lunatics in his own party, how is he going to stand up to that guy who is telling him to push the nuclear button?

Willard Mitt “the mirror” Romney. When you are looking at Romney, he shows back the mirror image of what you think he should be. From the examples he has shown so far, these same “show them what they want to see” tactics would be employed during his presidency to disastrous effect.

I have found out over the years that most people have no idea what it takes to charge someone and then convict them of treason. It is an extremely high bar, and for good reason.

That being said, I would say that the Republican Party with its oath of allegiance to Grover Norquist and his tax policies, and their refusal to do their job and spending their time obstructing legislation that would help the American people are closer to treason than any other person or group of people in this country.

The Republican politicians in both the federal government and at the state level are putting into place, or trying to put into place policies that hurt Americans. They are doing all of that for purely political reasons.

And no, I am not saying anyone is committing treason.
