
The first title for this article was “Living Without a TV”. However, it isn’t the TV programming I am living without, I have just changed the way the content is delivered. I am now living without a cable provider; however I can have just as much TV as I had before if that is what I want.
The reasons for the decision:
Over the years I have had several different cable providers though there was a striking resemblance in them all: Their customer service really sucks. For years the cable companies enjoyed a monopoly so their customer service could be nonexistent. Where else were you going to go? They haven’t completely broken that mold yet. They still seem to think they are the only game in town sometimes.
