Buffett Rule Vote: Tax Measure Fails In Senate

Mitch McConnell "Republican Party before country."

The choice this November couldn’t be more stark as it is now. Vote for Republicans and give massive tax cuts for the rich and cut programs for the poor and middle class to pay for them. Or vote for a Democrat and vote for tax hikes on the rich to pay for programs for the poor and middle class. It’s your choice America. Go back to the same policies that got us into the mess we are in now, (only the policies will be put on steroids), or take the country in a new direction. So far taking the country in a new direction has been close to impossible since the Republicans refuse to do anything that might help the president; like getting Americans back to work. We need to overwhelming elect non-Republicans to office.

Mitt Romney: Wrong On the Economy, Wrong For America

This man is clueless when it comes to...well, everything.

Mitt Romney is running as the candidate who can fix the economy. There are two really big problems for Romney in that area.

The first big problem is that the economy is improving, and should continue to improve unless the Republicans in Congress can figure out a way to tank it. This cuts the legs out from under Romney as far as the economy goes. He is running as the person who can fix an economy that needs little fixing.

Why I Am Leaving Goldman Sachs

One of the greediest, immoral, anti-American people in this country, Goldman Sachs CEO; Lloyd Blankfein

This editorial might just be the crack in the dam that will bring these giant anti-American banks to task and make them work for this country again instead of only for their own personal gain.

“TODAY is my last day at Goldman Sachs. After almost 12 years at the firm — first as a summer intern while at Stanford, then in New York for 10 years, and now in London — I believe I have worked here long enough to understand the trajectory of its culture, its people and its identity. And I can honestly say that the environment now is as toxic and destructive as I have ever seen it.

Stocks Return More With Democrat in White House: BGOV Barometer

As this chart shows, EVERYONE does better financially under Democrats

First I would like to address the chart to the left. As you can see, everyone in this country does better financially under Democrats than under Republicans. Everyone. The question now is: Why do the super-rich, who also do better under Democratic policies, want Republican policies? Because it isn’t about making more money, it is about greed. It isn’t that they want more money, because they would have that under Democrats, it is about having ALL of the money. They don’t want MORE money, they want YOUR money. That is what greed is all about.
