It’s That Time of Year Again

Well folks it is that time of year again. The time of year when the bills for this website come due. We have no advertising now, nor will we have any in the future. The reason for this is simple: When I go to a website that is filled with advertisements, I personally find it to be quite annoying. Not to mention it really slows the loading of the website.

So, the only way for us to pay for the site is either through your generous donations or by purchasing something from our online store: Steppin’ up. Any size donation will help. Be it $200, or $20. It all adds up and every little bit helps.

Announcement: New Chat Feature

We have now installed a “quick chat” feature. This will allow registered users and guests to chat with me or with each other. You will find this feature to the right of the page. All you need to do is type something in the chat window and then hit enter. Because of our limited staff, the chat room will be monitored between the hours of 10am – 2pm PST, 6 days a week. (Sundays are for football after all). :-)

Captcha

As you will notice when you login to the site now, there is an added step. Now, along with putting in your name and your password, you have to solve a simple math problem. The reason for this is to ensure that those who register for this site are actually human and not some computer program. This program is called “Captcha.”

The new login also helps to ensure that those who comment here are at least a little bit numerically literate. LOL

We are always striving to deliver the best in online experiences. ☺

Changes at Out of Stepper

We are bringing some exciting new changes to Outofstepper.com. We now have a weekly column titled “Republican News Roundup.” This column reports on what the Republican Tea Party has been up to in the past week.

Starting today, we are also putting in a random “Quote of the Day,” post which, of course, will be on a mostly daily basis. LOL
